Fuck NO!

I could go on and on bitching about how the Asian Football Confederation are run by total idiots, but that would be more speaking more in spite than sensible logic. So I shall just just limit myself to a few rants.

My beef.

The AFC dug its own grave when they came up with the brilliant plan to hold the AFC Asian Cup (our equivalent of the European Championships, Copa America and African Nations Cup) in four different countries. Seriously, why the hell do you need four co-hosts to run a football tournament consisting of 16 teams? Is there not one country in South East Asia (where it's being held this time) capable of hosting it on it's own? Even a co-hosting of 2 countries isn't as bad, but 4? What a joke.

It's easy to just point the finger and accuse Manchester United Football Club of being "disrespectful" and "colonial". IMO, it's just a sad excuse to divert attention away from what is the AFC's apparent "FEAR" that Man United's visit will overshadow Asia's premier football tournament. If that truly is the case, the AFC has already belittled their own tournament.

Bleh... So much more to rant about. But best I just stop here cuz I'm only leaning towards one side.
